An established vocalist, lead and backing singer and former member of the BBC National Chorus, Frances has been vocal coaching for many years. Able to teach both classical and popular styles, Frances pays very detailed attention to technique and encourages the student to perform regular vocal exercises to backing soundtracks such as the one featured below.
Most new students have difficulty projecting their voices at the beginning. Frances will help the student find their natural range, their ‘head’ and ‘chest’ voices, and help with pitch if necessary. As a pianist she is able to accompany students at performances where necessary.
Frances teaches from age 5 upwards. Lessons are £16 per half an hour weekly or £30 an hour either weekly or fortnightly. In some circumstances lessons can be taught at the students home, a travel surcharge will be payable depending on distance from Taffs Well.
Payments are taken one week in advance and cancellations must be made with 24 hours notice.
